Intelligence only meant as the capacity and ability of an individual to acquire information and understand before. Binet and Simon asked their subjects to follow simple commands, define words, differentiate things, repeat numbers, and identify abstract objects. Similar items are used in todays intelligence tests. The Intelligence quotient we have today is similar to their tests, but IQ tests are based on the age of the subject. Quotient is mentioned in the intelligence tests because this is where age becomes a factor, so IQ means alertness of mind regarding the age of the subject. But today, there are already many forms of intelligences and just alertness of the mind. Now intelligence includes bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, linguistic, logical-mathematical, naturalistic, intrapersonal, spatial, and musical intelligence.
